Fully virtual Singapore International Water Week 2021 opens today

The Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) 2021 which runs from 21 June to 2 July opens this morning as a fully virtual event.

Earlier announced as a hybrid Summit for water leaders and experts, the now-virtual SIWW2021

Spotlight will take place on 21 June. The centrepiece will also kick-off SIWW2021 Online, a two-week long virtual showcase that runs till 2 July.

SIWW2021 Spotlight will continue to focus on stakeholder collaboration and how innovation can be harnessed to achieve water security and sustainability. Among the speakers are:

  • Mr Heng Swee Keat, Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore and Coordinating Minister forEconomic Policies
  • Ms Grace Fu, Singapore Minister for Sustainability and the Environment
  • Mr Ahmed Aboutaleb, Mayor of Rotterdam
  • Mr Steve Demetriou, Chairman & CEO of Jacobs
  • Mr Patrick Decker, CEO of Xylem
  • Dr Alan Ryder, Founder and CEO of RSK Group
  • Mr HP Nanda, Global Vice President and General Manager of Dupont Water Solutions
  • Mr Chew Men Leong, President of the Singapore Water Association
  • Ms Cindy Lim, CEO of Keppel Infrastructure
  • Mr Bambang Susantono, Vice President (Knowledge Management and Sustainable Development) of the Asian Development Bank
  • Ms Jennifer Sara, Global Director for Water Global Practice, World Bank Group

SIWW2021 Online will present a range of industry-focused content, covering end-to-end of the urban water cycle. This will take its form through the flagship SIWW Water Convention which will present over 350 technical papers, a Water Expo of more than 120 international exhibitors, including six participating Pavilions, over 40 Thematic Webinars on key and emerging topics of interest, and specially curated Innovation to Practice (I2P) sessions profiling the end-user innovation journeys of industry and utilities.

Hundreds of participants have registered for the virtual event.
