SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. rebrands as AtkinsRéalis.

SNC-Lavalin Group Inc., a global services and project management company, is rebranding as AtkinsRéalis. This new name reflects the consolidation of various brands under one unified identity and signifies a new phase for the company. AtkinsRéalis, headquartered in Montreal, Canada, has 36,000 employees and offers solutions in the built and natural environments.
Ian L. Edwards, President and CEO of AtkinsRéalis, emphasizes the company’s commitment to engineering a better future for the planet and its people.
The name “AtkinsRéalis” combines “Atkins,”— the U.K.-based engineering firm WS Atkins it bought in 2017 — with “Réalis,” a word inspired by the company’s French-Canadian heritage.
The new brand and visual identity will be adopted in communications materials starting from September 13, 2023. The company’s common shares will trade under the new ticker symbol “ATRL” on the TSX from September 18, 2023. The legal name change will be subject to shareholder approval at the 2024 Annual Meeting of Shareholders.
